Hello everyone
My name is Addi. I am born and raised in Reykjavik in Iceland. Just started here on Memrise and I really enjoy it. I´m 42 but young at heart. Currently I am learning german, french and spanish. French has always been like impossible for me. I haven´t tried learning it before, I just mean I didn´t know but like 5 words lol.
Anyway, I find myself interested in perhaps connecting with others on here.

Hi everyone, I’m Paul from the west of England. The coronavirus pandemic meant I had to move to working from home and that’s going to continue for the foreseeable future. It has literally given me a new lease of life! I’ve started learning Spanish here on Memrise, guitar on GuitarTricks, various IT/“geeky” things on Udemy and Pluralsight. I’m working my way through Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books and, when the weather cooperates, am finally getting into another interest I just never seemed to find time for: astronomy.
P.S. Don’t tell my wife just yet, but I’m also going to try to learn to cook too.

It is a very useful place to ask questions and to find answers.
My tip for learning English, after doing the official MemRise courses, go to the web, put English as your mother tongue then look for courses to learn your language.
