Chatbots repeating [British English 2, German 1]

I’m working on British English 2, and German 1, and I’ve a problem with Chatbot. I have done the same conversation many times. In the meantime, I continue the other exercises but I wanted to know if it was possible to solve this problem @MemriseSupport ?

Seems to be this issue: Chatbots repeating, though that was with Japanese. Solution is pending the last time I checked. Could you report this in ‘Android’ bugs? (Or is it iOS?).
You might tag @memrisesupport (as I just did) and ask for a solution.
Are you a paying PRO member? And this are the Memrise courses?

Thank you ! It’s with my laptop (Windows 8) that I encounter this problem. And yes, I’m a member PRO, and these are the courses Memrise !

I don’t get it why people behave like they don’t understand. Memrise made only 3 chatbots, until now. When they made them available for the web version, they said they’d do more - did not happen (many other things did not happen as well, some other did). It is not a bug or something similar. It is “a feature”. Instead of people “reporting” alleged bugs, they should simply ask when new such “chats” will be available

OK ! I just arrived on Memrise, I wasn’t aware that there were only three versions of chatbots. It’s not “pretending not to understand”, it would be ridiculous of me. But thank you for your accuracy, now I know that we should not worry about that :wink:

I saw that the issue was mentioned several times, but I thought it was bugs to solve case by case. And my English is approximate, so I don’t always understand ! It’s OK :wink:

I’m experiencing the same with French Course 6 - 7 GrammarBot and TChatBot.

Here is a solution for now. If you are getting prompts for the same chat repeatedly, please click on “More” to select a different mode when you see chatbot prompts. The button will look like this:

I am experiencing this on Spanish(Mexico) 1. Chatbots keeps showing up in “Next Up” and it always repeats the “Who are you” session. I just signed up for pro and it appears that the free version (without Chatbots) works much better than the paid version.

The suggested workaround of clicking “More” and choosing a different mode breaks the guided lesson strategy and, for me, it doesn’t stop Chatbots from showing up after approximately every three activities. In my opinion, it just isn’t a very good workaround.

There are multiple threads that suggest this is a common issue across many courses and that it has been going on for quite a while. I am not sure if the staff have abandoned this issue, are ignoring it, or are actively working on it and there is no way to contact anyone directly which is extremely frustrating. I’ll wait a few days for this to be fixed and request a refund if it isn’t.
