Around June 24-26, there was a website bug that prevented watering and learning progress from being saved. Today I’m having a similar problem.
I just watered 15 words, and at first, my progress was not saved. I refreshed the lesson I watered, and it still showed 15 words needing review. I refreshed a second time, and the page showed that the words had been reviewed. I refreshed a third, fourth, and fifth time, and the page reverted to showing no progress. Instead it showed 15 words that needed to be reviewed. Then several minutes passed, I refreshed again, and my progress seems to be recorded; the lesson is showing that I successfully reviewed those words.
After that, I planted 5 words in the next lesson. First the progress wasn’t saved. I refreshed, and those 5 words showed up as planted. I refreshed again, and the progress was lost. A few minutes later, I refreshed again, and the progress was saved. After planting the next 5 words, I refreshed and the lesson showed no progress. Then it showed partial progress on each of the 5 words. Each subsequent refresh showed more progress until finally, the website seems to be acknowledging that I’ve planted those words.
Just now, I planted 5 more words, and after completing the session, I refreshed the lesson page several times and took screenshots. I’ll display those in the following post.
Today’s bug is not quite as annoying as the bug 10 days ago, but it is unnerving to doubt whether or not the website is recording my progress…

Hi @Kaspian - Thanks for raising this. You may have since noticed that I also raised it at the same time via the previous thread dealing with this bug. I have also sent in a “Support Request”. Hopefully, they will get onto it soon.
@alanh - As I said above, those threads were locked when I started writing, otherwise, I would have simply replied to one of them…
Although, given that this bug is somewhat different—progress is eventually saved, it just takes a few minutes—perhaps it does make sense for it to have its own topic?
No problem, @Kaspian. It was just that my forum ‘trust level’ allows me to unlock closed threads.
As you say, there seems to be a lag with this bug. I have just tried a couple of courses again and the watering was saved this time. This bug seems to have a variety of ‘symptoms’!
