Hello! Let's introduce ourselves :)

I am mostly using these two:

I was also recommended this one but can’t say I watched a lot of it:

Thanks for your advice! :hugs:

Hi my name is Florence, I an 13 and I live in Cornwall.
I enjoy Memrise, reading, singing, Harry potter, listening to music, baking, sword fighting and much more.
I am looking for French, English and German people aged around 11-15. Someone would be interested in some friendly Memrise competition and a bit of a chitchat just to keep up the language skills and build new friendships.
If you would like to get in touch please private message me and then we can take things from there. I would also be more than happy for us to chat on WhatsApp if preferred.
Hopeyou have a lovely day (or night!)

Hey everyone! I’m Claudia - that’s not my real name, I picked it when we had to pick German names for German class! I started using Memrise back in sixth grade for German-related things and took a very long break after sixth grade was over. I came back to it just earlier today because I wanted to use it to review country flags! I saw that Memrise had a community forum that also used the Discourse forum software - I’m super familiar with it - so I couldn’t wait to join! :)

Hello I’m Matt from London. This is my 2nd year as a paid subscriber and I’m still learning Spanish.

I nearly completed Level 1 over a year ago then didn’t use the app for about 7 months so I restarted as I thought I all my work would have been lost but I actually surprised myself with how much I remembered.

Would love to make new friends also learning Spanish or native speakers to help me progress.

The only issue I have with using Memrise is when it just never accepts a pronunciation no matter how I say it. Usually with words where you roll the ‘R’ which I have trouble doing like a native speaker.

I have also started level 1 in French, Dutch, German and Italian due to visiting those countries and curious to know some basics. I also started Russian. Any native speakers of these or anyone learning these please get in touch

Also interested in Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish and Frisian.

I have a goal to speak 5 languages by the time I’m 40 and I have 5 years left so I need to put in more work! My focus at the moment is on Spanish.

Happy to help anyone learning English too.

Hi, i am HelpfulCorgiGirl.

I have done Duolingo before and i am on Mermise to help me improve in my Danish and memorise Japanese Hiragana, Kanji then the other type. I also use Memrise to learn icelandic because Duolingo does not have the Icelandic course yet. You might be wondering why Danish, Japanese and Icelandic? Danish because i think the language is beautiful and i love learning it. Japanese because i find it interesting and i want to challenge myself to learn a very hard language. Icelandic because i also find it interesting and it’s fun to do.

Hi I’m Isabelle or KOTLC_Faith! And I’m learning Latin on Memrise for school because it is the root of all the languages. I’m doing Spanish and French on Duolingo! I hope we can be friends

Did you know you can learn Latin on Duolingo?

Yes, but I think I have to learn it on Memrise because someone made a course of a Latin book I have. Thanks for asking though

Hello everyone, I’m new to Memrise so I decided to introduce myself and you can do the same!

My name is @KOTLC_Faith, I started doing Memrise maybe a few days ago so I’m still pretty new to it. I’m learning Latin for school because it’s the
root of most languages. I practice Spanish and French on Duolingo! But I’m
so happy to be learning with the all of you! Feel free to tell something about yourselves!

(Sorry if this was kind of short)
