Yes, @Hydroptere. I’ve switched to Anki because it has the flexibility that Memrise has been slowly stripping away. When I found myself making scripts to manipulate memrise I knew it was time for a change.

could you increase back the Chinese font, pleaseeeee, and let’s hope it stays that way, i.e. increased
as a contributor, I cannot do that, and memrise has bugs bugs bugs and no member of the staff is answering (i’ve tried to report the issue, but to no avail, Sudden (and unrequested for) decrease of non-Latin fonts)

Hello everyone. I’m just starting this course, so wanted to say thanks to Drew for its creation and thanks to you dudes for updating it.
I create my own courses and I’ve been going through the Blue and Red HSK 5 courses as a contributor along with studentoflife who maintains much of the other HSK courses along with his own.
If possible could I be added as a contributor here? The way I mostly act in that role is to add English alts that are shown for English regional issues, or for any definitions or usages I come across by speakers or in texts. I add hidden alts for spelling issues that are minor differences. For example, if a definition is “to stand on one’s tippy toes”, I would add 3 or 4 hidden alts, for example, “to stand on your toes”. This is because I think it’s important that a correct meaning is marked correctly and one’s word history isn’t reset because of little issues. Especially since memrise has ignored the functionality of marking yourself correct after requests for the 6 years I’ve been using it 
If this course is of the philosophy that “words should have a solid, exact definition in the style of Chinese tests”, then I could change my correcting style to that.
For shown primary answers, I usually won’t correct them without discussion unless they’re flat out wrong, which likely is not the case in a course already in use for a couple years.
I use MDGB as my basic dictionary and ArchChinese if I need to dig deeper into a definition or usage.

I would recommend using the AwesomeTTS addo-on. It’s well-documented so you should find it easy to use
@Angharad.Merfin I’m willing to do that but I don’t see any options to do anything related to fonts. I think I remember seeing something like that back when I created this course but I don’t see it there anymore. If you can point me to where to change that I will do it.

Hey guys, I suggest we change 恐怖 (level 3)'s primary definition from “to be afraid” as it doesn’t seem to be accurate.
It could mean something terrible or frightening, or as a noun of terror/fear, but looking it up and confirming with a native, it isn’t an emotional state.
We can leave “to be afraid” in hidden alts if you guys want but I suggest we make it something like “terror; terrible”. matteogiuseppe’s course lists it as “afraid/terror”, but again I feel like it isn’t an afraid/emotional connotation. This impression I have of the main usage of the following kongs are -
恐惧 - to be frightened
恐怖 - terrible, terror
恐怕 - i’m afraid (that your sister and I…etc.)
If you think that’s an appropriate change, then go ahead and change it. Thank you for your help in keeping this course alive.

You can also use 恐怖 like 可怕 to be a more over-the-top way of expressing scary.
So like calling something scary or terrible, right? That I think is okay if we have the definition include “terrible” or “horrible” as well as actual “terror”. The main thing I was worried about is that with 恐怖, I don’t think it can express personal fear or the emotion of being afraid. So that emotion can be put on something else, “that’s scary, terrible, horrible, etc.” but not “he’s afraid of X”. So 恐怖 I think is labeling the negative thing being analyzed only. Whereas some of the others express what emotion the negative thing stirs up.
I agree with what you said. Also, my meaning was it is used sort of in reaction to something. Like if someone describes something that happened to them at work which is weird or surprising in a bad way you can respond with 好恐怖 or something like that.

Hey guys, wondering how you feel about words with multiple entries that have hints in them. For instance, to try has 企图，尝试，试图…etc. and the English will prompt with something like “to try; to attempt; cs”, with cs implying the first pinyin letters of 尝试.
I noticed that this makes the word really easy to get right versus searching my memory. On some of my private courses i’ll say what the word isn’t. For instance, for 老婆, the definition might say "wife (not 妻子).
Do you guys have any opinion one way or the other? It’s not like there’s a ton of words like this but just curious if we should milk the memory for what it’s worth that much more.

Haha I was distracted when I wrote that. I was in Japan shopping with my wife but if that makes me sound like I’m wise then I’ll take it! I was distracted when I wrote that.

Hey guys, sort of had a 脑屁 with that last request. Since this is the “test on English/Pinyin” side of the course, the only time we’d see those acronyms is when initially learning since we’re prompted with the Chinese. The relevant course would be matteogiuseppe’s so I made that request on his course forum. Also, I second the “your suggestion is a good one” vibe. Needs to be the golden rule in a “How to boost your own innocent aprentice’s confidence to staggering smugness” book.
