Speed review not working on some of my courses

On some of my courses, use of Speed Review is not working properly. If you use it, although you accumulate points, the number of words to be reviewed does not decline. This is particularly the case with the 10,000 words of Russian Part One, but one or two of the other courses I am working on are also affected. Without Speed Review fully functioning my work is slowing down considerably.
Russian in fact seems to have recovered but the Polish Speed Review still seems not to be working.
Intermediate Italian’s Speed Review is not working properly. At the moment My Russian course seems to be OK but the Polish and Italian ones have faulty Speed Reviews.
June 27 - Russian 10,000 words part one speed review again not working properly.
Later on afternoon of June 27 - Russian Speed Review still not working properly. I could make a dent in the Review backlog only by doing Review.

I’m having the same problem.
Normal Review seems to work, but for big courses it’s frustrating to have to work through an entire round of speed review and only seeing the number of words go down by 1 or 2. This is happening on all my courses, as far as I can see.

As an example, if one of my courses says [ Review (250) ] and I do 100 words in speed review, it will only say [ Review (249) ] at the end

Still having this problem on my Intermediate Italian course. I went through 100 words on the Speed Review but the Review still says 101 words to be reviewed - the same as when I started.

I had another shot at the Italian Speed Review and this time the numbers to be reviewed went down, from 101 to 43. However when I did the the same with Polish, there were still 22 words to be reviewed, the same as when I started.

Hi @SteveKaczynski, speed review is currently randomised . You may or may not review a word which is actually due to review. With a course which has many words, it may take a while for your review number to decrement.

When I did the Speed Review in the past, I noticed variation in the number of words that would decline in the Review. You might Speed Review 100 words but the Review number only goes down 20 or 30. But recently it has not been going down at all for considerable periods. I have noticed the courses with many words being worst affected - the Russian one has 4,999 words.

@Joshua
I’m still having problems with it unfortunately

I can confirm that there is indeed a problem with speed review. Words which are due to review should be shown first in speed review. This will be fixed in the next update.

still not working in my own portuguese course… but, then there also the audio review is not working properly, so… It is working however in all my Spanish courses

Edit: no, not even in my Spanish courses is the speed review really functional. Yesterday was probably just an “accident”.

After doing a lot of work on Review in the past few days to catch up in my
most important course, Russian, I logged in again just now and there are
467 words to Review. With Speed Review not working properly catching up is
almost impossible.

Fingers crossed, Speed Review seems to be working at the moment. Long may
it continue…

Still not working. Do we have to wait a week plus for a full update when there’s an obviously broken feature? I’ve hardly been able to use the site at all since it started playing up.

It is not critical for the courses that are only on 15 minutes a day, but it is crucial for my Russian course, the only one on 45 minutes. Ordinary Review does not easily with hundreds of words to review, which pile up particularly with 45 minute courses.
