no sound sometimes in my courses
Yes, I have just done the same, at least it means I can now continue. When the bug does get sorted, it will be a bonus. Ironically, I have spent the last several weeks on one of the unofficial courses (verb conjugation) and in that course, most of it didnât have any audio so I kind of got used to it being like that.
Hello , I have a strange problem in these days with memrise , when I start learning new words and review I can listen the voice actor and everything is normal but when he`s speak the second time the speaker muted , I mean for example I started to learn new words and everything is normal I listen the new word , the second time the word replay to test me (By any test way voice , spelling everything) the sound mute.
Please if there is someone have these problem and fix it please help and Thank you.

me too.
I also used memrise on microsoft edge and it still not working.
Iâm getting the same issue. I can hear all the words just fine during a normal review session, but within a âLearn new wordsâ session theyâre only spoken once. The listening prompts after introducing a new word are completely silent, and clicking the big repeat speaker button doesnât do anything.
Iâm on the Swedish 3 course running in firefox on linux.
It looks like this is an issue with the âMemrise Labsâ version of the learning sessions. Disabling labs in Memrise got me the old functional review style.
I think the red âbannerâ notice theyâve placed at the top of the FAQ section refers to this.

The software has not been running for several weeks and memrise seems unable to make the necessary corrections while continuing to collect new subscriptions.

In this time we can just learn with old memrise version (because its a beta version so thats normal for beta) and Im using this old version in these days and Its not too bad we can use it right now and if you want to know how to set the old version ==> Go to the top right and click on your profile picture and click on âSettingsâ after that uncheck the small checked square in the bottom ( The new Memrise experience (Beta) ) and after that click on âSaveâ
Ironically, I have just now, posted a new thread re no sound on Spanish (Mexico) lesson 4. Impossible to continue with the level as I cannot click on the correct word, not being able to hear the audio Really hope it gets fixed otherwise that will be the end of Memrise for me 
Not sure how you use Memrise (i.e. web or app) and I donât know whether itâs possible to do this on the web, but in the (Android) app you can turn of audio tests both (once) during a session and (generally) in the appâs settings. This way you should at least be able to continue the course.
Also, there are no audio-tests during speed reviews so that might be another option to work around the bug until Memrise fixes this (which usually takes quite some time âŠ).

Weâve identified similar issues with other browsers other than Chrome. Our team are investigating further and will release a fix asap.

Spanish (Mexico) 4, the audio starts off okay, but when it comes to listening to a word in order to click on the answer, the sound does not happen, making it impossible to do the level. Anybody else found similar?

I am on the web, yes it is possible to turn them off in the settings, at least that lets me continue, is a good solution until bug is sorted

Weâve released a change that should have fixed the issue on non-Chrome browsers. Issues with Chrome should be fixed by a new update tomorrow.
If youâre a non-Chrome user (e.g. Firefox, Edge, Safari etc) can you let me know if youâre still experiencing the problem as of now? This will help our team continue with the investigation.

I tried on Microsoft Edge browser but its not solved. There is a sound at first but then no sound. Also no sound then just about 50 questions on quick test.
Sound issue seems fixed on Firefox 90.0.2
