Offline mode

There is a problem with downloading language courses that Memrise is aware of. See:

According to the Memrise support the app has problems downloading large courses.

I have a number of both official and user created courses downloaded without any problems but have been unable to download a few 1000+ word courses.

I’m suddenly unable to download my course for offline use (it has about 2500 words). I receive the message “Download Problem - Please check your network connection and try again,” even though I’m connected to wifi. This started happening a week or two ago. Uninstalling app, restarting phone, reinstalling app doesn’t fix.

I just upgraded to Pro and am unable to download a language pack. I am able to download other language packs, but not all. I have tried uninstalling the app, restarting my phone and then reinstalling the app, but was still unsuccessful.

Any ideas?

I’m in my 7 days trial and thinking to buy the lifetime version, but I can’t download any course (French) to my phone, and no solution found.
All my 2 phones have the same problem.!

You will need to be already a Pro user in order to download the courses for offline use. Please let us know if you still have an issue.

Yes, I signed up yesterday. I have tried my own data, wifi at home, gym, office.
None of them works. @fanny_sta

I have the same problem. I use the last iOS with the last version of the APP in an iphone 8. I am suscribed and downloaded the english course (level 4) but if I am without connection, the same creen as the other user appears and I can’t study more lessons.

Over four months later and no response from Memrise tea? I’m a longtime pro subscriber and have the same problems. When can we expect these bugs to be addressed? Too many bugs regularly springing up for a paid service.

Still no luck for me. Same problem persists.

I’m on android. Maybe ios fix is soon?
Have you logged out and logged in again?
It may not download straight away, try a few times.

I am still seeing this issue in v2.3.57.9777 on iOS. I tried logging out and in again, uninstalling and reinstalling, and retrying at least 10 times in a row. I get an error every time.

Is there a fix coming soon? I really like this feature (when it works).
