I have just moved up to level 2 in the Swedish language. This is the first time Meet The Natives (Video Mode) has been offered. I keep getting an error message:.
Video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.
I have yet to see this issue addressed. I am running on my laptop windows 8.1.

I’m taking Italian 4, and am getting the same error message:
I’m accessing Memrise through Firefox 51.01 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.11.6.
The Meet the Natives videos were working earlier this month in Italian 3, and the videos are very helpful 
I’m not sure if there was a new batch uploaded recently or something else amiss. I’ll review my other courses for now, since it’s guesswork when the video is presented as a phrase gets watered/reinforced during learning (Meet the Native videos don’t seem to come up during review rounds).

I have the same problem with Firefox since a few days, I tested it with other Browseres (Edge & Internet Explorer) there it’s working,… probably Firefoy has a problem with the data format or sth like this… 
It does not work in the Memrise Android app either!
What is worse: Those types of question are interspersed in the “normal” exercises, too. I can only guess the correct answer because I do not even hear the audio. (Memrise Swedish 6)

We are aware of some issues regarding Meet the Natives videos not loading on certain sections, and hope to have it fixed as soon as possible (our developers are currently working on it). Apologies for any inconvenience.
Hi @Joshua @MemriseMatty ! Is there any news? I have to close the learning sessions whenever I get a video. I get them a lot. Really annoying.
Hi @Atikker (and others) Can you try downloading the latest version of the Android App? There should now be a fix for this bug available. Please let us know if this works.
Still most videos don’t work properly. However, a few of them did play flawlessly. Checked with latest Memrise app on Android.

I am using German for Russian speakers course. Videos do not work in offline mode with bad internet connection showing “tap to reload” button but work normally with high-speed WiFi connection. Maybe you should check internet connection quality before showing “Meet the Native” videos?
