Japanese 0 is stuck at 207/210

I see that Japanese 0 cannot proceed beyond 207 words - when you try to “learn new words” it fails. As I understand this is due to the fact that “level 2” and “level 4” contain 3 grammar rules that cannot be accessed from the web as they are app only.
However, app is locked beyond level 1, thus it is not possible to complete the course - it is permanently stack at 207/210
Say, level “4 - Forming Sentences” is not accessible for me neither from the web nor from the app. It is not listed among levels that can be ignored both on the web and on the app.
So, here is a specific question: how to ignore level “4 - Forming Sentences” in Japanese 0?

Hi @kristoferjanke, Do you see this on the web or on your app? There is now a grammar mode that is only available in the apps, and not on the web. The web also counts the grammar levels as items and there are 3 grammar items to learn in Japanese 0. I’m suspecting those are the hidden 3 items in your 207/210. What do you think?

But I only got 2 Grammar lessons from the app, so now my word count is at 209/210, and I can’t seem to find the last word/Grammar lesson. Could it be a paid exclusive? I’m on the free version for both the app, and the web version.

It’s been useful for me to know that the Grammar lessons on mobile apps were why there were missing items!
Yes, the second Grammar lesson is behind the paywall and you will need a subscription to learn on them. (The first Grammar lesson included two items and the second lesson has 1.)

If you have a subscription, you can also try the “script chats” we have in the mobile. If you look on the course for Japanese 0, you will see a speech bubble icon at the bottom right of the screen. That is the gate to script chats:)

Thanks for sharing this. This is what I sort of figured out by now: There are three grammar items available from paid version of app, but not accessible from the web. However, that last item is still inaccessible from the web, yet it is counted on the web. I was wondering if there is a way to remove that item from my view since I’m not able to use it anyway.

As grammar mode is being improved and has no web version yet, I believe that this is not possible at the moment. My courses 0, 1 & 2 appear incomplete too, because of this (PS: I only use the web version). This is happening with the new versions of the courses, which in the case of Japanese, are courses 0, 1 & 2.

There is a response from KanaTsumoto that grammar mode for the web may take a while:

I’m afraid there is no plan to bring Grammar Levels to the web at this stage, we are first focusing to perfect the features and the courses on the app before we branch out. Please bear with us on this one.

Thanks. It helps to know the definitive answer. Surely, it’s not that hard to live without a finished course (though it leaves some feeling of incompleteness

Thanks for this. I prefer to use the web version, but I can do the app to complete these three missing pieces to go on to the next level.

Could you post something on the Japanese page to indicate this? I didn’t even figure out I was stuck for a few weeks and it started getting boring.
