Bug preventing final Japanese course session on Level 1 from loading?

I am learning Japanese with Memrise on my desktop, and had been having a good time doing so. My progress report says I have 207/210 words in my long term memory near the very end of Level 1. When the option to “learn new words” comes up and I click on it, or when I access the menu and click the same basic option, the site takes a moment and then informs me that the session could not load. Then I am taken back to my account dashboard, or an alternative lesson loads.

This issue has been occurring for 2 days now, and it is preventing me from making any further progress (though I am using the time to review). I don’t know if it makes any difference on how sessions load or anything, but I did pay for a 1-year subscription.

To resolve the issue, I have tried closing my browsers and reopening. I have tried restarting my computer. I have tried using a different browser. The outcome remains unchanged. Please advise!

Hi @JasonVenter6 , I’m a user too

Thank you so much for the quick response, Milamy. By installing and using the app on my phone, I was able to take a few instructive grammar lessons and now I have proceeded to Japanese 1. I try to use my phone as little as possible for Memrise, but I’ll know to try it in the future if I get mysteriously stuck again. I hope the development team will find a way to improve the messaging on that point, so future users don’t get stuck as I did. Have a good one!
