When you said this i looked this up and in fact des etudes is the plural so i guess the creator is using the plural of the word

singular -> "an education " = “une éducation” and plural “educations” = “des éducations”
singular-> “a study” = “une étude” and plural “des études” = “studies”
No, it means education in some sentences
