Howto: Shorten Course Forum URLs

Hey everyone,

I just discovered something useful and wanted to share.

It turns out that the URL’s to topics in the forum can be shortened by erasing the title of the topic and just including the topic’s number.

For example, [Course Forum] HSK Level 6 by DrewSSP can be shortened to http://community.memrise.com/t/769.

Hopefully this is helpful to people who are posting links to a course forum in their course’s description :slight_smile:

Just tried it and it works fine for me. But maybe not for everyone. See this post

That was because I had disallowed a discourse thing in uMatrix. After allowing that thing, it now works for me too.
