Escape button even though anwser is correct doesn't work

I always view open the answer screen during review using escape button after anwsering, but even though the anwser is correct before I press the escapebutton it says i don’t know the word and I have to review the word a few more times.

Please fix this! – I use the mems to review the actual usage of a word and resetting my learning to zero every time I hit escape after answering is counterproductive and annoying. Thanks!
