an initial log of corrections from 6/2/19
Level 2:
zvláštni -> zvláštní = seltsam
Level 9:
žízen -> žízeň = Durst
mám rad -> mám rád = ich mag (m)
mám radá -> mám ráda = ich mag (f)
má rado -> má rádo = es mag
Hello anoulipo,
Thanks for starting this. Here’s my contribution
Level 15:
jeji muži/ženy/auta -> její muži/ženy/auta
náše žena -> naše žena (twice in the lesson, remove once)
váši muži -> vaši muži
Level 16:
oblibená -> oblíbená = liebste (f) -> Lieblings- (f)
Level 17:
počitají -> počítají
spiš -> spíš
počitame -> počítame
Thank you, @eiseli! I think I fixed all those, but let me know if something didn’t take.
počítáme is I believe the correct form. Also I changed náše ženy to naše ženy while I was at it.
On that point - I only saw one naše žena in the database. I’ll go through the level to see if I find it.
Thanks again,
anoulipo
Thanks, that worked like a charm.
Here’s another one I just spotted:
Level 15:
na moji zenu -> na moji ženu
Fixed. Thanks again.
slyšim and slyšime are now slyším and slyšíme; slyším was twice in the database.
Level 16:
mám rad modřou -> mám rád modřou
Level 21:
přilíš pomalu -> příliš pomalu
Good catch - fixed.
Level 6:
starí -> staří
Fixed, thank you for catching that -
Thanks anoulipo. But we’re not done yet
Level 16:
černobilý -> černobílý
Level 17:
koncí -> končí
Keep 'em coming! These should be fixed now - thanks for finding them.
Level 18
Jména těch chlapcu -> jména těch chlapců
Here is more
Level 14
chápe jí -> jí chápe (to be consistent with all other occurences (mne chápeš, jej chápou, nás chápete))
Level 18
Title: Famiie / Genitiv -> Familie / Genitiv
jméno té divky -> jméno té dívky
Also, about “se ji bojím” shouldn’t it be “bojím se ji” as the se wants to be in second position?
Level 19
Oblečeni -> oblečení
Level 22
čtvřty -> čtvrtý
půl čtvřté ráno -> půl čtvrté ráno
Thanks for all of these! I will change most of them now. I think you are correct about both jí chápe and bojím se ji - the se certainly should be in second position; I have gone back to working through the Duolingo course and want to double check how the course handles these two - it’ll take me a couple days to catch up.
I also changed bilé to bílé in Level 17 and have my eye on tmavě - that is an adverbial form, I believe, not the neuter form advertised, which should be tmavé. But I think tmavě is introduced in Duolingo. Will fix that one soon as well.
Lesson 22
there’s an inconsitency leading to unjustified errors:
while
die Namen dreier Männer
translates to
jména třech mužů
die Namen der vier Männer
translates to
jména čtyřech mužů
Both are correct, no doubt, but knowing that the first exists, one could be tempted to translate the second to
jména těch čtyřech mužů
In order to avoid that, I would suggest to change the following:
jména čtyřech mužů = die Namen der vier Männer -> die Namen vierer Männer
Lesson 21:
úplné -> úplně
nejdřiv -> nejdřív
známe dobrě -> známe dobře
Lesson 23:
nechtěji ani -> nechtějí ani
Lesson 24:
neni čeho -> není čeho
neni co -> není co
snažime se -> snažíme se
často se divat -> často se dívat
Note: I will keep editing this post until you post a reply, as this forum will prevent me to make several posts in a monologue fashion…
Sorry eiseli - I made several changes a couple days ago but didn’t get around to posting a reply. I’ll add the ones from Lesson 23 and 24 that I haven’t gotten to yet (I already had done snažíme se, I see). Let me know if I’ve missed a couple you suggested (I still need to look into the jí chápe/bojím se ji from a few days ago).
Thanks anoulipo.
Lesson 24
se starat o -> starat se o (again in order to have se in the second position, analogous to the following)
zajimat se o -> zajímat se o
čist -> číst
jet: gehen [fahren] (einmalilg) -> jet: gehen [fahren] (einmalig)
