Thereâs an audio error in Spanish (Mexico) 2 by memrise. Under âFuel your Vocab: Clothesâ the male voice says âtodo/todasâ when the words âel sombreroâ appear. The female voice is correct.
Just paid for pro! Disappointed to hear errors! If I hear more, probably will cancel/not re-up.
People are not robots. They make mistakes. If you find more errors just report them and they will be fixed. I have had a really good experience with Spanish courses here on Memrise
(It would be really nice to hear a response from memrise that the problem is fixed, rather than to have someone tell me I should stop complaining. I was honestly disappointed because I just paid to go pro and started finding errors on a course sponsored by the company and that seems to have been around for quite a long time. It really should not still have basic errors like this. I was also frustrated because it took ages to figure out where to report errors on this course. It would be nice if you could just report errors quickly from within the course itself.)
I said and1 saying it again: keep reporting mistakes and problems. @angileptol is the best language specialist. She will solve your problems quickly.
Ps! Mexican Spanish course is actually quite new, so there may be lots of bugs that have been mended in Spanish Spanish. At first there were only 1 set of Spanish courses.
First of all, apologies for the errors you have found in the course.
Mexican Spanish is pretty new and some errors have slipped in. I understand it must be frustrating to see that, but we are working hard to improve this asap and make sure our learners are happy.
Thanks to your feedback we will be able to find and fix those errors promptly. Those audio files have been deleted already and I will replace them with the correct ones. When you logout and log back in, the changes will take effect in your App.

I was lucky to accidentally notice this announcement. However, I canât see this course in the list of courses. I can only access it with the direct links here.
Even after starting these courses (from direct links in Web) I canât see them on my home page in Web. Only in my app.
I see it this way⊠we slept on train because at that moment in the past we didnât have money. It was like some time in the past but it has ended now. Maybe we have money now.
Estudiar here is in the preterite tense, not imperfect, imperfect would be estudiaba.
Indeed, tenĂamos is in the imperfect tense because it refers to a non-specific time, and an unfinished situation. Look at this example: âTuvimos que dormir en el tren porque no tenĂamos dineroâ. Also, to be honest, you would probably never hear âtuvimos dineroâ, that just does not work for Spanish, you would always use the imperfect to say that.
In Spanish (Mexico) 2 there is a sentence in Level 16: ânunca estĂĄ contentoâ (âheâs never happyâ), the woman reads it correctly but when listening to the recording of the manâs voice he seems to read ânunca estĂĄs contentoâ â I know my Spanish listening skills are far from top notch, is what I am hearing accurate?
(Also in Spanish (Mexico) 2, Level 10: Fuel Your Vocab: Clothes, there are three audio files attached to âlos zapatosâ, two that say âlos zapatosâ and one that says âlos calcetinesâ.)

I think this is incorrect. The official soccer federation of Mexico is called the âFederaciĂłn Mexicana de FĂștbol AsociaciĂłn, A.C.,â and they would seem to be a knowledgeable authority on the matter.

In spoken language, if you look at the Mexican & Lat. Am. TV shows and sports reports that talk about soccer, you see that the commentators pronounce it futbol about 60-70% of the time, but it is still pretty common to hear well-spoken commentators pronouncing it fĂștbol.
