Is this Spanish for Italian speakers?
If adonde means “to where”… shouldn’t it be like ?adonde vas?
In Spanish 3. An older woman with purple hair says “estoy un poco confusa” (she is female) but the text on the video says …confuso. Maybe it would be a good thing to add the female form as well.

“Ahí” is a bit closer to the speaker than “allí”.

I didn’t do a screenshot, but I remember choosing the wrong word for there. Both ahí and allí were in multiple choice test.
So I wondered what is the difference between them. I guess there’s smth to do with distance. Sorry I don’t remember the course number or level
That should not have been the case! Only one of the words should appear as an option. The difference is minimal, but I guess “ahí” is a bit more frequent. If you ever get it again, let me know exactly where it appears. Thanks!
(And yes, it has to do with the distance, “allí” is a bit further away from the speaker.

In my mother tongue I have learned that Spanish word “adónde” means " to where" (kuhu)…(a place to go to) …Like : “Adónde vas?”. “me voy a casa” and “dónde” means “where” (kus) (a place you are at)… like “dónde estás?”. In English there seems to be no difference. Very rarely I have heard “to where are you going”. In Estonian there is “adónde vas = kuhu sa lähed = where are you going” and “dónde vas = kussa lähed = where are you going” The latter is only used in spoken language.
So my question was doesn’t Spanish people use the word “adónde” anymore nowadays. (In 1999 there was a difference between dónde and adónde) In course there is only dónde vas

I see! Good question. “A dónde/ adónde” is still widely used in Spanish. It should only be used to indicate direction or movement, as in “¿Adónde vamos ahora?” or “No sé a dónde voy…”. However, in those cases the adverb “dónde” can also be used without the preposition “a”: “¿Dónde vais de vacaciones?”. I believe “adónde” is more frequent than “dónde” in this type of questions.
“Adónde” should never be used without the sense of movement, so “¿Adónde estás?” would be wrong.

I know it also does not make sence in Estonian. In English it would be like “to where you are”

I understand, but… the one which is used more frequently should be on display … app users only see the first frase, not the alternatives.
So, can you please change it to “adónde vas” with “dónde vas” as alternative.
