[Course Forum] Spanish 1 to 7 by Memrise

Hi, in the picking test in Spanish 6, level one I found errors in the sentences “sí, lo hice” and “no, no lo hice”. The answer is always accepted after picking first word of the sentence.

@JanDias It is because of the comma. First it annoyed me but not anymore. I just say the complete sentence. In other courses if words are separated by comma you can simply type either of them. Not good thing in grammar courses.

Another problem here, I’m pretty sure that this guy says:

But the correct answer is:

They know about it… My last post was all about it to remember them it ist still there. (On mobile devices you can trace back post on web not)

Thank you for the screen shots

Hi @JanDias!

Thank you for posting these photos. This is exactly what happened to me 3 weeks ago, but I didn’t do a screenshot then. @angileptol said it will be deleted because it is wrong.

I’m now thinking isn’t it be easier to just drop the “unos”?

Hi Jan!

Thank you for your message and for posting the screenshots. We are aware of the issue and it will be solved soon. Meanwhile just ignore the audio. We want to have the “unos” to give the idea of approximation. Thank you!

Best,

Ángela

Hi Ángela,

Several examples of how I’ve been handling the various “you” forms can be seen in this level in one of my high-frequency verb conjugation courses:

Hi, I would like to report a mistake in Spagnolo 4 (Spanish course for Italian speakers). The sentence “compró ese coche hace veinte años” has been translated as “comprò questa macchina vent’anni fa”. Ese coche = quella macchina este coche = questa macchina. The Spanish sentence (or the Italian translation) needs to be amended. Thank you

Hi Tiburtina,

Thank you very much for your feedback. I will get my colleague @MatildeBC, who is the Italian specialist, to have a look and proceed accordingly. Many thanks again.

Best,

Ángela

Man I gotta figure out how to use these forums better so I can give notice of clear errors I’ve found. Is it easier to post through the app? Can you even post at all through the app?

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your message. I will always help you through this forum, and it is easier if you tag my name. With regards to the app, you CAN use it to contact support, just go onto your Settings and click on Feedback and Support and you can send us a message!

Ángela

Hi, @dantheman147 !

My advice is to put this course forum (or any other you are learning) to your favourites each with course name for example. This way you can quickly report mistakes.

App and this forum are not connected

When learning the new word, “bienvenido” is pronounced as “aquí tienes” in a female voice, which obviously is a mistake.
Please check.

Can you please confirm that you are talking about the official course by Memrise?

Sure, as you can see in the image below.
BTW, only the female voice has the problem, the male voice goes well.

yes I can see that too. ( not happening on app as it only uses one audio)
If you use the web version, go to level 12 , select options then preview. now skip to the phrase “bienvenido” and you will see 2 audio speakers, selecting the first will give the incorrect audio.

well, it happens on app, at least on iOS app, because the default voice is the female one when pronouncing “bienvenido”

Hi @lancerhuang!

Thank you very much for spotting this mistake, it is certainly the wrong audio for the female voice and it has now been deleted and replaced with the correct one. You won’t be able to see the change on the app unless you log out and in again. Sorry about the inconvenience and thank you for your feedback!

Best,

Ángela
