Buongiorno a tutti!
I don’t see a forum for the Spanish course, so I’l post my doubts and problems here.
To the creators/managers of it, there is a mistake in the second lesson of the first course: the personal pronoun you (tú) has an accent in Spanish, and here it doesn’t. On the other hand, it is useful to know if they are asking you to translate the personal pronoun (tú) or the possessive article (tu…).
By the way, in this same lesson you should also add the double como/cĂłmo for come, since both Spanish forms are only one in Italian:

¿cómo está tu madre? como un sol
com’è la tua mamma? come un sole

If you could change it, it would be great.
Grazie!

Hi @Carmen_Beste

I don’t see a forum for the Spanish course

I presume you mean Italian for Spanish speakers? (I think they have just created this one.)

I think this is one for you @MatildeBC.

Yes, that was what I was looking for, but unable to do so. Thank you so much, @DW7 !

Many thanks @lien for picking this up and creating this new thread. Much tidier and clearer. As well as letting people know who will be looking after it.

Should the other now say Italian for English speakers?

Hi. Well, I want to report two problems with courses.

One of them is in Italian course 1: in Spanish language we have several personal pronouns so, we need to know when the word refers to “they/ellos(as)” or “you/ustedes”, for example, when you put words like “pensate” and “pensano” (“piensan” in Spanish, “think” in English), because in Spanish we uses the word “piensan” for both pronouns, but in Italian have different grammatical rules.

Second, when I start any practice, the first audio word/phrase doesn’t load, this happen in all my devices.

I hope I have made myself clear! :stuck_out_tongue:

Kind regards

Hi, Ciao, Holla Estrella aka @emancerac

Is this the official MemRise course? (Perhaps you could give a ink to the course, please?)

@Lien - please can you direct or even better, move the above issue to the person supporting Italian 1 in Spanish.

@emancerac the second issue may be slow loading - again if you give the course, then someone can check it for you…

Ciao…

Sorry… It’s in Italian 1 - level 10, when using the conjugations of the verb “pensar”, we need the personal pronoun referred to by “pensate” and “pensano” to make the distinction between one and the other, since it generates a bit of confusion when answering the questions, because although we know the meaning, it is difficult to know which of the two they refer to if they only put “piensan”, for us any of the 2 answers is valid because we use the verb indistinctly for “them” and “you”, however in Italian, where a different conjugation is used for each personal pronoun. For example, if you put the verb followed by the personal pronoun like: “piensan (ellos)”, we know that the correct answer is “pensate” (I hope hahaha, because I’m not sure hahaha)

The same applies to the words “non” (Italian 1 - level 5) and “no” (Italian1 - level 1). In Spanish there is a single “no” and so they put it in the answers: two “no” but without clarification to which the word refers.

I hope this helps to further improve the product that is really fantastic.

Best regards.
