Hello @guestgulkan, thanks for that - I don’t know that book, requested a copy through my library’s interlibrary loan service. My main source right now is a book by Rusmidar Reibaud, Parlons Minangkabau, the only user-friendly source I’ve been able to locate (there is an extensive grammar by Gérard Moussay, who also compiled a huge two volume Minangkabau-Indonesian-French dictionary, a bit overwhelming for self-pedagogical purposes…)
just a question concerning Hawai’i: i am a bit fed up with these “slangy” terms… Indeed, I do not like the idea of learning “slang” before I know “standard”… anyone, an idea how used - and in what circles - are the many (too many) slang terms in the Hawai’i course? because if they are used only by kids and teens, i can ignore them …
also, could you please add sesekali and biasanya as synonyms for kadang-kadang?
and as well di pagi hari as synonym for pada pagi hari? both are in the course, how should i know which one came up in review?
also, would you please add “di malam hari/pada waktu malam/ketika malam” for “pada malam hari”?

I cannot find “nih” in dictionaries, you probably mean “NAH”??? for the “at the moment” i find: saat ini, pada saat, saat; sekerang, NAH, kini etc; also, for “pacaran” I find a rather different translation…
also, 50% chance to get it right: cuma (in Hawai’i) should have at least “hanya / saja” as alternatives, these being translations for “just, only” which_ do_ appear in the same course as well; nanti ---- sebentar
50languages: more “ordinary” variants for penuh pertimbangan: “perasaan; kepekaan” (if thoughtfulness = caring), an “perhatian” if it means concern, consideration. Penuh pertimbangan means simply "full of/filled with consideration

Hawaii is one the premium Indonesian resources online, and Indonesian does have a high colloquialism ratio so hopefully he knows what’s required.

Hi, another request for the University of Queensland Indonesian course.
Some words are appearing twice in the course. That should not be a problem, but in some cases it is making it difficult to give the desired answer.
For instance, “jarang” is showing up twice.
In the exercise you have to pick one of them, so you have to guess.
