ke bawah entry, would you put into brackets “direction” or something
down : turun, bawah, etc//ke bawah = “towards down”
“all /everything = semuanya”. ‘Hawai’i’ gave “semua”. Could you simply introduce as visible alternatives: semua, segala, segalanya, seluruh, segenap, sekalian
how do you run duplicates detection across courses???
queensland: saya terus menulis “terbaik” untuk “best”, oleh karena itu saya terus “diberikan” “merah”
best - terbaik; Please (Cheshire cat grinning here) . Paling baik is just the last alternative in sederet, for ex ("terbaik; yang terbaik; terbaik yang; terbaiknya; secara terbaik; terpentingnya; paling; kondisi terbaik; baik; paling baik; ")
tapi/tetapi - alternates added. (I only say tapi myself)
namun/bagaimanapun - alternates added.
sekali seminggu pada - umm not sure… maybe showing how to use pada for “on” with time.
terbaik / paling baik - alternates added so no more red
Duplicate detection isn’t easy. I download the entire course and run sql on the results. btw I think Memrise should make a function for this for course creators.
should “paling sedikit” be more like: at least, fewest; the least? “least” as paling tidak? just asking
“kuasa” needs some synonyms: kekuasaan; daya; kekuatan; tenaga; kuasa; listrik. I would put power, authority as primary definition and set “might” into brackets
“arti” is more like “meaning”…(definition = definisi; pemerian; patokan; penentuan; ketakrifan; takrif)
“depan” in queensland is twice, probably, and highly ambiguous. “in front of” is “di depan”; “next”… depends what part of speech is… “next” as the “following one” selanjutnya; berikutnya…
5 “urut”: order as: ordered; regular; successive; sequential, successively, one behind the other, sequence, ordinal, sort.
6 love your new course, makasih! (needs indeed some polishing, but the voice is soooo soothing…)
in the new course, 50 languages: would you please introduce some synonyms for drinking straw: “pipet” is correct but ambiguous, but sedotan (and 'minum jerami) would be great
also, could you add “(animal)”, after “seal”, so one does not answer with the word for seal/stamp/logo/etc (which is “segel” or soemthing)
I speak about Hawai’i now, i’ve quit temporarily the queensland, because of same words with different spellings and translations - the the groups of authors seem to disagree every now and then)
1 what do we do about “desa”, “kampung”? could you move (administrative unit) in front of “village” for “desa”, so I don’t screw it up again in watering?
2 I know US-Americans (the prof in Hawai´i is not a Hawai native) use soccer for what the rest of the _man_kind calls football, but still, the translation “football, (especially soccer)” for sepak bola is funny. Could that become just “football, soccer”?
3 puluh has the definition “the number-word, indicating multiples of ten, thirty”; obviously “the number-word” and “thirty” do not make much sense, or?
50 languages: could we have pentangitn lelaki as synonym for pengantin pria; and kakek, kakek-nenek for “eyang”? (people level, or course)
Pimsleaur: level 22.
That - bahwah. I’m not sure if it’s an old spelling - as you know Indonesian spelling has changed a couple of times in the past. Either change it to bahwa or, at least, have it as an alternative.
50 languages: some birds name have “burung” before the “proper” name of the bird, some don’t… cannot really remember if I have to type burung elang or only elang. Both alternatives are correct, but…I think all birds are in the first level
50 languages, level about the military: would you please introduce pesawat pengebom, and pesawat pembom, and bomber as alternatives for “fighter bomber” (i don’t really understand the whole page, but i think that pesawat tempur serang is also a synonym? https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pesawat_pengebom)
(it is not only wikipedia, also a German- English-Indonesian national security dictionary…the dictionary is not secret or something, is published by a very known german foundation)
