Hi!
Could you tell me how your course was synchronised with these smaller ones? I want to make a few synchronised courses by myself, because one is too big, but I cannot find any information about that.

Hi Jaime, I don’t know how this was done - but the feature that links this course with the BenWhately courses has been in place for a few years. I think you’d need assistance from the Memrise team to synchronise your own courses - this could be difficult as they seem to be very busy these days.

By the way, I recently edited the entry for “la talla” in this course, and the changes have been mirrored in “Advanced Spanish 1” by @BenWhately - so the feature still appears to work…

I made the change you suggested.

Note that the noun “el mono” (=monkey) appears to be about twice as frequent** as the adjective “mono” (=cute, lovely). But both are common vocabulary items.

Good point, I think. We had the following items with overlapping translations:

Level 55: disimular = to cover up, to conceal (not “encubrir”), to dissemble
Level 6: cubrir = to cover, to cover up, to conceal (not tapar or recubrir)
Level 46: tapar = to cover, to cover up, to conceal (not cubrir or recubrir)
Level 60: recubrir = to coat, to cover, to apply a coat to (not cubrir or tapar)
Top Up #5. Level 7: encubrir = to cover up, to conceal (not “disimular”)

I thought the best way to deal with all of these is to use initial letter disambiguation, which I’ve now done:

Level 55: disimular = to cover up, to conceal (d…), to dissemble
and so on.

A few months ago, I did disambiguate:

Level 20: procedente de = proceeding from, coming from (not “proveniente de”)
Level 54: proveniente de = coming from (not “procedente de”); originating from
