[Course Forum] Duolingo Russian (full audio) by cherub721

Hi cherub721, thanks for your work on this course!

Having verified the matter with a native speaker, in level 71 “Мы приготовили весь день” should be “Мы готовили весь день” given the suggested translation. As it is the sentence would refer to having prepared a full-day event of some sort.

I think both “полгода” and “Полгода” may appear separately in the course. In learning “полгода” in level 71 it seemed that I sometimes had the option of both “half a year, six months” and “half a year” (not sure about capitalization), with only the former being correct. And when I had “half a year, six months,” I had options of both “полгода” and “Полгода,” with only the former being correct.

I have been using this course for quite some time now. As a matter of fact, I think I migh have started three years ago! Therefore, I would first of all like to thank you for all the effort you have put into this course. It is really excellent to be able to use membrise parallel to duolingo. The latter alone never really gives me an adequate grasp of the vocabulary. Moreover, I really like that it is quite long, and that I can keep comming back to it to review the words.

I know this thread has not been used for quite some time now, but I still wanted to ask whether we will be able to expect updates in the future. I am doing the Russian from English course and it struck me that not all the skills are present on memrise. Is this because they simply do not exist or is the vocubulary from those skills to be find under other catagories?

In any case, I am still very happy to be able to continue using this course!
