[Course Forum] Duolingo Norwegian Vocabulary, Tree 4

A forum for the following Duolingo Norwegian course, Tree no 4:

Words were taken from the vocabulary lists and tips and expanded where it seemed sensible. The audio is from Forvo where available, and from various TTS engines.

For male/female nouns, the female forms (ei/-a) are preferred, but the alternative male forms (en/-en) are also accepted.

Also included is IPA transcription.

Please post your feedback and suggestions on the course below, and any errors you may find. I shall be monitoring this forum until the end of the year and would like to ask for your feedback.

Hi, just wanted to make you aware, in Shapes, et kvadrat is listed as “rectangle”, when it’s actually supposed to be “square”, according to Duo. Thanks!

How did you add audio from TTS? Trying and failing at doing that atm

Hi there, in Verbs 8-14, you have å passe as “to fit, suit”, but in the lessons, it used as å passe på, “to look after, care for”. Would you be willing to change this, since it’s more in line with the skill usage?

Wanted to point out that 12-12 et mineral has the wrong audio clip. It’s using et materiale by mistake.

Ive been working through the DuoLingo Tree 4 for Norwegian and would like to use your course along with it, but id pr3fer not to have to go through all of the material ive already covered. Is there a way to set the course so that i can pick up where i am? Ive tried just selecting the lesson for the section im on, but after it gives me some exercises from that lesson (which, for me, is Traits) once done with that set, it goes back to giving me exercises from Leson 1. Any help is appreciated!
