It’s a very general term. its not limited to (factory) outlet stores or whatever you’d call these stores in your country. It can be any point of sale ranging from ice-cream trucks to amazon.com.

That’s now

  • de financiën → (the) finances :white_check_mark:

I surmise that financiën is not only plural all the time but, just like in English, often used as a collective term. Hence, it won’t need the definite article all the time. As proven by de minister van Financiën. That’s why I put the the in parentheses. Not sure whether I should do the same with de. Tell me if you would like that better.
