Attributes refuse to show themselves

I am making a Finnish course with A_User and we have some problems with the attributes. We have followed the instructions and I believe we have clicked all the right buttons. This is, however, our first course, so perhaps we have overlooked something. The problem is that although we have added several attributes, they do not show up when taking the course. Here is a link to the course.

@Zzzzz ~ you have one attribute line showing up. It contains the word “interjection”. How many attribute columns did you create, and did you populate each one with data ? If there is no data, they will not appear.

Go to the attribute properties (click on the pencil icon)

Then check the “Show at Tests” checkbox and save.

Almost every word has an attribute of some kind, many words have several attributes. At least, one showed for you. I have not seen any.

What shows on the individual item´s ´learning-review’ page. “more” or “less”. If “more”, click on it.

did you do what @skstudio suggests ? If so, and you still have issues, do you want to make me a contributor so I can take a quick look ?

I tried that. Nothing happens when I click on Save.

EDIT: I contacted my contributor partner. Perhaps she will be able to use the button.

Not working for me. :disappointed:

Ok. I suggest you take up @pdao’s offer and temporarily make him a contributor so he can take a look. He’ll be able to see what needs tweaking. Good luck!

OK. I will consult my co-contributor first. Thank you!

In the very first lesson I can see an attribute showing parts of speech.

Should it be more? Can you add something to the other attribute columns of the word “terve,” so that we can test it.

I believe only the course CREATOR can make changes to the database settings, so A-User will have to make the necessary changes.

@Zzzzz, @leggi, @skstudio, @A_User, @alanh ~ here is what creators and/or contributors can and can’t do: http://feedback.memrise.com/knowledgebase/articles/525167-add-a-contributor-to-my-course

Yes, @pdao, you just beat me to it. I was about to post that. At least if they temporarily take up your kind offer, you will be able to see what needs tweaking and tell them how to do it - if the permissions don’t allow you to do it for them.

@alanh ~ that’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s up to them what to do, as long as they can resolve their issue. Thanks.

I just told it to show at tests, is it behaving properly now?

Edit: It is for me, anyway. Thank you, all!

I think this my problem, not a general problem then. I still cannot see the attributes. And it is not the only problem. I cannot Save the attributes, I cannot record speech and the course apparently has zero users, which I know is not true.

If it helps, this is what I am currently seeing for the first item in the first level:

Has this item got any other attributes in the database that should also be showing?

There are definitely users showing on the course homepage, too. Here is an extract of what I am seeing:

As an afterthought, I remembered this other recent topic. You could try clearing your cache, too. Can’t do any harm: Home page is blank

There are certainly other attributes on some of the words (“Joo” in level 7, for instance, has more than one), I think “terve” only has one, though. I checked “Joo” and it showed both of the attributes it has for me.

I have no idea what a browser cache is… :disappointed:
