Android: Leaderboards show only 20 entries since the latest update (2023.05.25.0)

Since updating to the latest version on Android, I noticed the following two changes which I hope were unintended:

  • leaderboards now only show 20 (instead of 100) entries
  • in the course list, the *Learn a new course" button is again at the very top (see → this thread for more info)

@MemriseSupport: could you see into this, please.

I sadly noted that.

Guess one then has to find a computer to see people either side of you.

I like to see the top 100 or down to the first non player.

A week has passed and no reply from you guys, @MemriseSupport. Maybe you could see into this, @James_g_memrise? Both changes are quite annoying …

Almost three weeks now, still no response.

I suppose I’ll talk to myself for the time being …

As with many changes over the years I think it was intentional, that’s why we don’t see comments on the subject. Another “we are saving resources” thing with 20 entries and a pure marketing move with the button at the top.

I think we have been told there will be no leaderboards on the new format Official courses, so this is probably a sad migration towards it.

The button has been repositioned again with the last update here, so it’s now at the bottom again.
