A problem with typing tests in arabic courses

Good afternoon,
I created a course in arabic recently. At first, I thought that students should type strictly, so I used to add alternative answers in the first levels (and an answer without punctuation was considered correct), then I discovered that it was not necessary, that’s why I did not add alternative answers anymore…and things were working well until today. Unfortunately, when I don’t type the answer strictly, it is considered wrong.
I noticed that this issue concerns especially commas; I wonder if this happens because of the difference in “punctuation writing”: in Arabic, we write from right to left, and then commas and semicolons in arabic are written like this:

، (shift + k in azerty keyboard)
؛ (shift + p in azerty keyboard)

Moreover, in the tapping tests, the answer is written from left to right, which is somehow weird.
Also, when I enter items like a definition for example, when I write a ‘full stop’ at the end of the sentence, it appears at the beginning of the sentence rather than the end (I don’t know, but it seems to me that these issues are all related to the text direction).
I wish these problems will be fixed soon.
Thank you.
