I would like two beers please.

beer is uncountable - nouns
I think you might be able to say that the word “beer” is either countable or uncountable, depending on how it’s being used.
If you say “I’d like some beer, please,” then it’s uncountable.
If you say “I’d like a beer, please,” then it’s countable, because what it really means is something like “I’d like [a glass of] beer, please.”
