Words with multiple audio files - playback chooses random audio

Hi,

If you have a word with 2 audio files attached to the audio column for it, it will choose a random one when doing the course. Also if you enable audio mode, it will play the first audio track as the “hearing” test and then it will play the second audio file after you answer.

Is this the intended effect? Shouldn’t it be playing all audio tracks each time?

It’s quite annoying when you’re trying to teach the Onyomi and Kunyomi readings for Japanese and it just plays whichever one it feels like.

This is how it worked for my courses: it chooses a random track, or at least, the user doesn’t have any control over it.

As for your Japanese course, I understand that there are two valid pronunciations for one item.
In that case I would consider:

  1. Or making two levels, one with Kunyomi and another with Onyomi (add a marker so the user knows whether they are doing K or O.)
  2. Or Making one recording playing both pronunciations at once.
