Yes, that is it. The game is to find the right short words to talk with. It is not too hard if you go slow.

Yes, all can chat here of not few things. Wise thoughts or dumb jokes, say hi to friends. But since the thread has a word game, when you take care to choose the short word, you laugh.

On this day, I want to speak Welsh through Skype with a girl I know.
I want to go to Wales in March, so I want my Welsh to be good. I need to hear it a lot and I need to speak it a lot. I am still at the start.
But she, too, does not speak it from birth. We both learn it. So I hope it will be good for both of us! She knows more than I do, though.

Seems like a good way to sound like a boy or girl that just learned how to talk.
I’d like to see one try this in a tongue not used here. The tongue of the Brits is rare in its high count of one-sound- chunk words (did I just cheat?)

I think you did not cheat.
You are right with “sounds like a child that just learned how to talk”, I think. Some of the first words a child learns are these one-sound-chunk words. They are down to earth. They are the ground of the tongue.
In the speech of the men who live in the snow and ice, this game could not work

You did not cheat, but I think it may be best to switch the words and not use the dash: “words of one sound chunk.”
Right now the game does sound like the speech of a child, but that is just caused by our lack of skill. With use, the skill to think of the right words will grow. Right now, we can think of plain words, but there is a vast sea of strong words that can be used.

You can use few words or not. As you like. You can speak for a long time and not stop just as this does now if you can pull it off.

More news from my day.
On the past day, I went to a house where men work for the town. I got a card there. That card says who I am and that I am from this place
And I got a small book there. The book, too, says who I am and that I am from this place. It shows my face, too. Now I can go to the place I want to go to next month, and come back.
That place is not like the place where I am now. That place has a Queen. This place does not. So that place needs to see the small book when I want to go there. And my place wants to see the small book when I come back – since I will have come from a place which is not this place.

I said up in this thread where I will go - to Wales. I want to speak Welsh there, for I learn Welsh. So I will go to a place where lots of boys and girls speak Welsh. It is in the North of Wales.
I will stay for three days. Well, I will go there on the first day, I will sleep, I will have one full day to see the place, then I will sleep again and I will go back home on the third day. This way, the flights are cheap, for they are not at the start or end of the week.
And it is not cheap to stay in Wales for long So it will be but three days for me.
I doubt that I will see the Queen, too. Nor a Welsh drake 
Have you been to Wales? Or to my place? (My place is where the tongue is called “Deutsch” in the tongue of the place.)
By the way, I have a small book from the place that Wales is a part of, too. I have had that small book all my life. But some boys and girls in that place said that they do not want to be part of the big place. I don’t know what will be. So I asked for a small book from the place where I live now - where I was born - where I have spent all my life. That way, I can stay here and live here and work here, if Wales is part of the big place or not in the time to come.
So now I have two small books, one from the Welsh place and one from my place.
