Why should I have to install a script from anything to disable the timer? Some words take longer than others to type and I find myself pressured. As a new learner, which I’m going for retention, not speed at this point. The timer is something you should have the option to add, especially for older lessons, not new ones.
Why would I pay for pro when something this seemingly simple isn’t a checkbox I can check or uncheck?
Simple: Because it (the timer script) actually works!
There are lot’s of “workaround solutions” one has to find.

There are iMHO so many user scripts a MUST HAVE to install, to make Memrise much more productive and reviews more effective, that this “sweet little” “Timer Disabler” is a no brainer for me 
There is a fine line between stress induced and performance induced training.
Making a feature request would be a proactive way of encouraging Memrise to add this feature.
