When I reset my phone, memrise popes up a password prompt on startup. My memrise password didn’t work, but it looks exactly like Apple’s iCloud password prompt. I am not typing my Apple password into a third party app for obvious reasons.
If I cancel, memrise continues to work, but the popups keep appearing. This has nothing to do with subscriptions, as I can reset my phone and use it all day long including other subscription apps. The moment I start memrise the popups start appearing. Even more annoying is they keep popping up even when memrise is in background, until I reset my phone again.
Can anyone from memrise respond?
Since my post, there’s been an update from memrise and I’m now on iOS 11.2 and it’s still doing it.
Security concerns aside, the constant popups are just too annoying. I’ve stopped using it on my iPhone, broken my 2 month streak, and at this rate will probably cancel my pro subscription
