It is very frustrating in long sentences like “Sie spielt Badminton total gern, aber sie …”. If I tap the second “sie”, the first one is removed and I have to remove all the words one by one and start over.
What happens if you use the “wrong” one in the second half of the sentence? Does it still mark it as correct?
I wouldn’t be surprised if capitalisation was ignored in such tap-the-words tests.
Both “sie” are identical in the actual test, the capitalization is mine.
So my point was, does it matter if the “wrong” one is removed? You don’t have to remove all the words one by one, just keep going and when you need another “sie”, use the one that’s left over.
Or does that not work?
Of course it does matter. Memrise erroneously removing the first “sie” means that the very beginning of the sentence is wrong and that I need to remove every word.
This happens to me as well and drives me crazy. Every time there’s a repeat word and you click on the second word to move it down, the first instance of it goes away and then you have to move all the words down and start over.
I hate it too…
This is very annoying especially with long sentences that take a while to construct
