What course do I take after A2 Spanish?

Hello,
I completed A1 Spanish and am about to complete A2 Spanish. However I see no B1 Spanish available. Which course would best be suitable for me after I complete A2 Spanish?

If you have finished A2 the best one to continue with is Spanish 7 which would be the beginning of B1. You can also do the courses 1-6 with ignoring the words you already know. There are lots of new phrases and lots of errors corrected. So I advise you to take the official courses. You’ll see some videos also, the natives there are really fun

Happy learning =)

Thanks for your reply. I will do Spanish 7 after I complete A2 Spanish.

Spanish 7 is a somewhat short course. After I complete Spanish 7 then what should I take? Is there a Spanish B2 course available?

Here are some Spanish courses that I’ve found to be useful and high-quality:

First 5000 Words of Spanish by BenWhately (300+ lessons with 25 words per lesson)
First 5000 Words of Spanish by xoviat (60+ lessons with 75 words per lesson)

The BenWhately version was created first, but 3+ years ago, courses with lots of lessons had problems loading on the app, so someone duplicated the course and made larger lessons (the version by xoviat). I’ve completed the BenWhately version, and can verify that it’s a great course. You may want to ignore words you know well, but there will probably be plenty that’s new.

First 5000 Words of Spanish Top Up #1 by @ian_mn
First 5000 Words of Spanish Top Up #2, #3, #4, #5, #6

These courses by ian_mn add more vocabulary and some short phrases. He’s active on the forums and the courses are well-maintained. (I’ve completed Top Up #1 and started Top Up #2).

Intermediate Phrases - Éxito de Venta by davidyakobovitch

It’s collection of idioms and phrases. It’s great for learning phrases and concepts that don’t directly translate. I’ve learned about 10% of this course.

Series: LATAM Verb Conjugation by aitchdubya

If you want practice conjugating irregular verbs, this series is great. I’ve completed four of them.

Advanced Spanish by @RabbitWho

This course contains advanced vocabulary, ranging from common to obscure. If I remember correctly, it’s a collection of the words she encountered while reading literature. I don’t know if she’s still adding new words, but I believe she’s still maintaining it. I’ve completed about 25% of this course.

Accurate Spanish by colingibson

More advanced vocabulary and some short phrases. No audio. Other people have recommended this course, and as far as I can tell, it looks useful. Colin was still adding new vocabulary as recently as a year ago, but I don’t know if he’s still around. I completed the first lesson, but switched my focus from Spanish to German around that time, so I didn’t go any further.

This series contains vocabulary grouped by part of speech. It’s thorough, and the words are ordered by frequency. I planted the first ~2000 words in the three courses that I listed here. It’s not always clear which synonym they’re asking for, but the course contributors have added many alternate answers. @Hydroptere - Are you still maintaining these courses?

I’ll definitely check those out. I appreciate it.
