I think to make it clear just how we the memrise community feel about this 'update’, we should take the following vote, to show @BeaTrisy what ‘the feedback’ about mems really is, just in case other reactions on the main form aren’t clear enough.
who liked the update: one learned a total of 675 words - and has been on memrise for ages, I have the impression (he did not really understand what mems are about - if I look at his mems) - and the other one 2,859 items (this one made one mem). Na tja…
Let’s not worry about the two people who voted to keep it this way, okay? You think it’s fair to scrutinise someone’s account just because they disagree with you? Who cares about who they are as memrise users, their opinions are worth just as much as the other 115 people.
Always funny when the people who are winning accuse the other side of voting illegally…
Pardon me, but this is bullshit! Sometimes I can’t find a good meme by myself and I love to search through the other mems, often I find “the one” for me and remember it as well as a self created one. I am more than angry, Memrise losts it’s heart!!!
I agree. Just because we may not agree with them, that doesn’t mean their points aren’t valid. It could be possible that some of the 118 people don’t know what they’re talking about either!
All that matters is getting an accurate picture of the feedback towards this new change.
I’m so unhappy with their decision to hide community mems that I made an account here just to vote for them to pleeeeeeeeease change it back! The app was so helpful but now it’s almost useless! I’m devastated. My progress has pretty much ground to a halt
