Voice is slow to react

I’m doing the German 2 course and the voice is slow to react… when doing the quick review it causes one voiced phrase to overlap the next one. When doing the course on normal review or learning phase, it’s just slow and occasionally doesn’t speak at all. It happens on both my android and on my web browser (Firefox for mac). The voice behaviour is exactly the same for the French 1 course.

Any way to speed the reaction of the voice up?

I think voice clips may be loaded “as needed”, instead of all being loaded at the beginning of the session, as the words are. This means that if the Memrise server is being slow, it can take a bit to load the voice clips and play them.

I don’t know that that’s what’s happening in your case, but it sounds like it might be
