Videos are freezing on Kindle Fire Hd. It has occurred on French 1, and Simple Chinese 1 & 2. No errors, and it is possible to exit the course. Thanks.
Having a bad connection might cause this to happen.
How is your connection? Is it quite slow or is it stable?
It’s 83Mbps down and 47Mbps up. That speedtest doesn’t work on mobile devices, apparently. I watch videos fine (Youtube, Netflix, etc.) on my Kindle with no issues.
Could you try un-install and re-install the app?
Just un-installed the Memrise App and re-installed it. No change. The
videos (all Memrise videos) still freeze on the Kindle. My wife has an IPad
so I tried the Memrise App on there. No problem with videos on the IPad.
(So it’s not the connection. lol)
Is anyone else having or not having this video issue on a Kindle Fire?
Could it be a setting or something? I found a video quality setting which I
set to the highest setting but that didn’t help.

Having the exact same problem with the kindle phone. As soon as a video begins to play memrise freezes. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.
