Various questions - vocabulary and grammar

In German, schippern is considered sort of colloquialism for “segeln”. In fact, they are partial synonyms, because “schippern” in to sail when the wind is low.

does anybody know how to say schippern = segeln, allerdings mit wenig Wind", “to sail, when the wind is weak/low”, in Spanish?

I know you were trying to delete this thread so you must have the answer already. Anyway, just in case:

I´m a native spanish speaker and I would translate “to sail, when the wind is weak/low” like this: “navegar, cuando el viento es suave/apacible”.
