I changed my phone and factory reset the old one. Now I’m trying to access my account but it says Wrong password/email/username but I have screenshots from Android app of my account. I still have access to email I used to create account.
When I try to reset my password it says user doesn’t exist … I’ve tried to use VPN to no use … I’m losing my mind. Please help me I had made some good progress in my account.
Can you post what your username was? Also, did you ever create mems with containing links by any chance?
Username : Aaron_Stark
No … I only used to use Android app.
There is no user called Aaron_Stark. If you’re completely sure that’s the correct spelling, then your account was deleted. I’m just a regular user, a staffer will have to look into your situation, and if at all possible restore your account if it was deleted by mistake.
Must be very frustrating for you! A few ideas go through my head.

Have you already tried simply logging in with your email address?

I wonder if you could search your email for mails from memrise (with your old account of course). To which email is it directed? Then you could perhaps do a login -> ‘forgot password’ and have a link sent to your email address. That will probably tell you your name.

Did you by any chance create any courses? If we can find them, it will tell the creator, which is you.

Perhaps a bit far fetched, but it is possible to change your username. Could it be that you accidentally decided to change it but than completely forgot about it? I noticed in settings that it is possible to accidentally just at or delete a letter to the user name (e.g. by pressing the wrong key when jumping through the page) and if you then click save without noticing the change…
I am now wondering how to find out whether it was changed, or better what the ‘new name’ would be. You could try to recover your password with Login -> Forgot password, then fill in you email address.
Hope you’ll find a way out soon.
