Unable to go back to showing all courses on Dashboard

So, I pressed a few of the various options for filtering courses on the Dashboard by category, recently learned, etc. This works all fine and dandy, but now I can’t go back to showing all courses (i.e. no filtering). There doesn’t seem to be an option for ‘Show all’ or similar in the dropdown, as I recall there has been previously. The option seems to be stored in the cloud, as clearing cookies doesn’t even help. Has anyone here experienced the same thing?

Yeah, on my app for android, I can’t see the drop down for all other courses either.

Anybody know what’s going on?

Hi @Kranix,

but . . . [how can I ] . . . go back to showing all courses

Not sure if this helps but on the web (as you reported under web bugs) if you click on YOUR profile, you will open a page that lists all your TEACHING or LEARNING courses (there are two tabs).

Ask if you need more information.

If you are searching for new courses go to “Courses” at the top or use the topic list on the side.

You can always use a search term (word) having chosen a category.

Again, ask if you need more information.

Thanks, but the course menu on the profile is rather impractical, as it doesn’t show goals, to-review count etc. and also requires two clicks to start a session. I would like to see everything on my dashboard, which is designed for this.

That’s a shame.

On the Home page or Dashboard you do have the filter for “With Goal Set” - does that help?

I am not aware of the issue but it might be worth including the name of one of the MemRise team so they are included in this thread (and invite them).

I have a bunch of courses that I don’t have goals set for, but use nonetheless (for instance, courses that I have already completed and thus can’t even set goals for, but want to review anyway). I don’t know who the Memrise team members are, but shouldn’t they check this forum anyway?

clicking “memrise” or “home” does not help? with the drop down menu on the “filter results”? (you put this in the “web bugs” category, so I speak about the web version)

No, and neither does refreshing the page, clearing cookies etc. It seems to be a persistent setting in the cloud.

If you can bear to learn one small level again, you can start that level again and set a goal.

@BeaTrisy can you comment please?

“Recently Learned” seems to list all of my courses, bit by bit, as I scroll down. The courses are ordered by when I last learned from them.
