If one has a word like “(a) cow” and one misses the word on review, one is offered the opportunity to re-type it. In this case typing simply the word in parentheses “a” passes the card. That’s certainly not right.
Steps to reproduce:
- review on a set that has optional words in parentheses.
- when reaching one of those words with parentheses mistype it
- when offered the chance to re-type it as practice - type just the part in parentheses
- observe that memrise automatically proceeds to the next word
Expected behavior - one should have to type the main word(s) as well as the optional component in parentheses.
