Typing/no-typing in one single level?

hi,
I always thought that the Typing tests could be enabled/disabled once for the whole database, so each course is either typing or no-typing style. But today I ran across some typing levels in a course that looks mostly like a tapping one: http://www.memrise.com/course/700032/learn-html/
First levels are tapping only, however, in Level 24 typing tests are first introduced.
Could someone explain, how it is done? Or am I totally wrong, and typing/no-typing style can be set separately for each single level in a course? …or maybe I can choose different databases for different levels and set different preferences for each of them?

You can have as many databases as you want. You can make a new database for each level if you want
