Translation error? (old course: Japanese 2 for English speakers)

Same as 公, I’m afraid!

I couldn’t find this item in Memrise database, so I’m guessing this is in a course that a fellow user created. You might want to mention the course name in the topic so that the creator will pick up on this:) Thanks!

Probably the figure that Hotmatcha posted is from the old course (first version): Japanese 2. But it is not possible to know if it is from the course for British English speakers or for American English speakers.

At level 29, the kanji 東 appears. See the figure below:

However, KanaTsumoto has already verified that the problem is not in the course, but it is an app bug:

This is due to a bug we had where the app hides the relevant information, like translation or furigana.

I think you’re right! It was in a Memrise course and it was a bug that it hid ALL the necessary information.
The bug should be resolved now and if it still appears to happen in your app @HotMatcha, you may need to update the app to the latest version.
