Tips for moving a set of terms from an existing course to a new one?

I’ve got a bunch of infinitives in a course I’m creating that I think would fit better into their own separate course. Can anyone recommend a way to move them all into a new course without having to manually re-enter each one on a word list? I’ll be grateful for any suggestions.

Hey Lusófono,

Sorry I don’t know how else to contact you as Memrise doesn’t have this option - I’m currently in the process of creating a similar course to the one you made on the modern Portuguese Brazilian Grammar.

It’s been a huge project so far but I’m sure there will be a few mistakes and I was just wondering if you wanted to be a collaborator on this as I have no doubt you would able to help tremendously.

Right now I am in the process of creating a program that will let me bulk add a good number of the audio tracks from Forvo. Hopefully this will be completed within the next few weeks. Let me know if you might be interested and I can add you.

Hi @lusofono, the quickest option would be to:

  1. Run Memrise Scraper on your course to generate a text file:
    https://tech189.dev/memrise/

  2. Then copy-and-paste selected chunks from the text file into each appropriate level of your new course using “Bulk add words”, which is found under the “Advanced” button at the top of any opened level (when in edit mode).

Three years later, I doubt you’re still working on this, but I thought I’d describe the method in case anyone else is trying to do the same and happens to stumble across this thread.
