For several days now, Memrise tells me it doesn’t have the same time zone that my phone has. This is incorrect – I haven’t even left town for the last couple of weeks.
Don’t know how common this problem is or if you’re working on a solution.

Yeah, same here. And even if I press the update time zone button, I still get this message another time I open the app.
Though I think you should move this thread to Bug Reports.
The prompt appeared for the first time for me today, but as Ryou says that the prompt comes back again and again. I also noticed that some of my modules are marked as “goal completed” even though I haven’t touched them today. Very confusing!
Also the timezone in my profile reverts to UTC - Unknown Region (GMT) Time, now matter how many times I reset to my timezone.
April 14. I no longer have time zone / goal complete isssues. The issue appears to have been resolved.
It updates the course I noticed. So when I make changes to a course, it prompts on my phone and after hitting yes, it updates my course with the latest changes without having to log out.
Have the same problem, too. It lasts for a couple of days.
Same thing is happening to me. I went into my profile (using the Android app) and noticed the time zone was set incorrectly for some reason so I changed it. The next day the prompt appeared again and I checked the setting in my profile and noticed it was different to what I had changed it to so I have just checked my profile again through the web site and ‘resaved’ it under the correct timezone. I will see if the prompt occurs again tomorrow.
It’s common and I have it too. Though not every day.

I’ve found what seems to be a solution, although this still indicates to me that there’s a Memrise bug.
I cleared the cache on my phone related to this app (settings/ more/ application manager/ Memrise/ Clear Cache).
Since then, I’ve not had an issue with the time zone.
I hope this works for others who’ve had this problem.
