As I mentioned in the title, there is a difference between the number of my learned words in the app and in the website. The app shows 8 words less. I don’t know why this happens but I think it is because Memrise sometimes fails to count learned words when it is used offline. I’m not able to solve this problem although I’ve refreshed the page several times. Can you please help as it’s really irritating me??
I cannot help (I guess most of us really just ignore this, sorry if this tickles your OCD… 
), but the same applies to difficult words, and words to be reviewed; the web and the app version don’t really work together very well is my impression
I have found that if you use the app version of memrise (at least for iPhone) in offline mode it will not sync automatically with the web.
My workaround have been to take out my phone after doing a web session, open the memrise app, push the little hat icon, but not pick something to learn. When I go back to learning mode the app is synced with the web. When I use the app offline, I open it and do the same thing when I have internet access again. So fare this has made sure I’m synced.
It’s not ideal, but I don’t really mind either, so
