The example of difficult words and listening skills does not work

Hello,
I have a free account. In the previous update, the Android app provided the opportunity to practice a few difficult words and listening skills (“Try something new”). After the last update the app does not allow it. It is impossible to practice difficult words and listening skills. Is there anything to do with it? Is it a bug or a policy change?

I’m not sure, but I think this was likely an intentional change by Memrise. They’ve recently stated that the only things that are provided to free users are the review and learn functions.
