Thanks for adding the watering can (back) to the dashboard!

I was so happy to see that I can now monitor how many words I need to review on the various courses I am doing - right on my dashboard, just like it used to be.

Thanks for responding to the people here who were very upset to find that this very important information was suddenly no longer visible.

It makes efficient memrising easier if we can see how many words are waiting for review in each course and no extra clicks are required.

And it will be just perfect when it will soon be made clickable, right? Going right to a classic review from the dashboard if the learner wants it.

Memrise: - You mean, like it was before? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Me: - No no no, absolutely not, it would just be another improvement, ya know… :upside_down_face:

It is indeed a step in the right direction. It’s important to complain when things are lousy but also to applaud when things get better. So good job Memrise!
Can’t wait for those icons to become clickable (just like they used to be lol).

I got so excited I thought they reverted back to the old system, but no… Why is that “more” button still there? Sigh.

not the “more” button, but: why is “next up” still there? the “more” has everything one would need, the next up is a joke asking the user to take “listenging skills”’ in courses with no audio etc, to learn new items but you have 45 items waiting for review. etc. (I fact i need none, the old dashboard was clear and somehow cleaner)

I thought it would be nice to have a separate thread which would make it more visible that some people are happy about this change, even if it didn’t really need to have happened in the first place (but that is another story entirely).

I’m happy with this too, but if it were clickable, then my complaints with the new app-like update would be resolved because it’d then just be aesthetic changes with the added feature of the 4 cycling reviews & learning. I usually only do classic & difficult words review. Audio is worthless with many Japanese courses because I don’t know if it wants kana or kanji, and some words have the same sound but use different kanji. And speed review seems kinda pointless except to get words you already know marked as incorrect and reset for reviews.

So memrise, please add a clickable feature to the water can to go straight to classic review please. I’d be very happy if that happened.
