I’m currently learning Arabic, now my goal is to be able to speak it, not write it perfectly. The problem is that Arabic has multiple ways to write an ‘s’ or ‘t’ and more. I don’t want to have to remember which ‘t’ I should write in each word.
Bottom line, is there a way I can say to Memrise that the word was correct after it has been checked?
Thanks
Unfortunately, there is not a way to tell memrise that your answer is correct; i.e. you cannot score manually or change your score.
It is possible to add alternatives. In the database, hover over the Arabic word in an entry. A small Alt button should appear at the end of the field. There you can add alternatives. If the correct answer is ‘doe’, and you add ‘foe’ to the alts, both are accepted, but for ‘foe’ you need to give enter during the test, while doe is auto accepted once you have typed it.
Maybe you should look for a community-created course that says “no typing”?
